Today we are heading to Kolsåstoppen to take som pictures for geography class. Kolsåstoppen is a place in Bærum and it is over 350m over the sea. We have to take a buss to a place then we are going to walk up there. I have never been there before so I’m looking forward to visit it with my class.
Well the climbing up was hard and tiresome, but when we got up the view was really nice. I could see my home, Vardåsen, from there. And I could also see a huge part of Bærum and Oslofjorden. It was beautiful to stand there, but too bad it didn’t last so long.
On the top of Kolsås there are volcanic rocks from the carbon time (350 million-290 million years years back). We also saw a lot of big rocks separated from the mountain just laying on the ground. There was these kind of rocks everywhere all the way up to the top.
